International Cafe--International and domestic students have the opportunity to join together and taste and sample libations, snacks and games from all over the world. Check it out!

The purpose of the International Cafe is to represent several cultures in a fun and educational setting. The fairs are student run and any one interested in participating is welcome. Through the International Cafe, we hope to build a sense of community among the large and diverse student population of Mason.

The International Cafe, a collaboration between the Office of International Programs and Services, Peer Empowerment and University Life, will be held on the first Wednesday of each month in October, November, February and March in the Patriot Lounge of SUB I from 12 to 2 p.m.

Midnight Breezes and Love Jones: Hosted by PEP and Akoma Cirlce, Mason students and local acts are given the opportunity to showcase their talents in the areas of poetry, music, dance, and spoken word.  Midnight Breezes is held in October, and Love Jones will be in February 2015.

PEP Relaxation Lounge: A year-long lounge that presents ways to promote positive mental health through entertainment and activities. This event will be held twice a month beginning in September.

Power of Femininity: Empowers the Mason community by redefining roles of women in society.  Each event provides a networking aspect that allows guests to transition into active roles within their communities. This event will be held October and March.

Street Smarts: A resource for freshman and transfer students.  This social gathering creates an atmosphere to ease their transition into the Mason community. We discuss different resources students can utilize socially and academically to enhance their Mason experience. This event will be held in September.
